My brother lived in one of the most spectacular valleys in the world, Capertee Valley, NSW.. It’s beauty is beyond description, and its timeless, hugeness is an artists dream. The vistas can take your breath away, but in this painting, I decided to focus only on one of the rocky outcrops. A monolith. Each outcrop, changes colour as the day goes by, and again, it is unbelievable to witness the hues. Painted en Plein air and studio adjusted, the painting is a meditation and dedicated to my brother.
