There have been many a time when I sit to paint and have no reference. On these occasions my mind often moves to the world of the feminine and the natural, spiritual realms. My brush, palette and imagination form the figure without me thinking too much. As a child, I spent much time with the fairies in the field, and as a woman, I’m still inclined to “see” them. These paintings are now mostly sold, but I will continue to produce them spontaneously, as I always have done.
